I had an iPhone I was using apple maps , there is no comparison between them google forever ❤️?

Extremely handy, and besides all the cool map, transit, and directions, it also has other features like business reviews that are very cool.

Update Aug 6, 2017, can no longer limit search results by "open now." This is wildly inconvenient as adding "open now" to the end of a search doesnt limit them either. Seems kinda mean to take away a feature like this. Have fun sorting through dozens of places that are closed to find your result, or get to calling all the places google shows as "open now" even though they dont have hours. Update! Be sure to check other routes carefully. The app will now ignore faster routes to direct you down toll roads. Sometimes it wont even show the faster route until you select "avoid tolls!" Thats ridiculous, just because Im willing to take tolls, does not mean I want to spend $10 on a slower route. I have also had the app redirect during the route (common) and just turn tolls right back on for no reason. This is super helpful when you dont know an area, lose perfect signal for half a second in downtown, then just follow the guidance out. By the time youre to the highway, the faster, non-toll route is now behind you bad would take much longer. Ive paid closer attention and this is something that happens regularly. It doesnt happen every time the app tries to reroute for no reason, but just make sure to check your route after it does. Because this app seems to get off on making you take tolls. The remember settings button wont remember to avoid tolls. Worse, even if YOU remember, theres a chance the app will reroute through tolls without your consent.

Користуюсь iPhone 6s. При завантаженні маршруту "додому"/"робота" в більшості випадків далеко не з першого разу завантажує пропозиції необхідного мені маршруту. Також, часто не враховує дорожні знаки в Україні (м. Київ і т.д). Наприклад, в м. Київ пропонує повернути наліво з вул. Мельникова на вул. О. Теліги там, де поворот наліво заборонено дорожніми знаками. Аналогічна ситуація на повороті наліво з вул. Дмитрівської на проспект Т. Шевченка (по знакам це заборонено!). Плюс в Києві часто вказує на пробки, яких по факту немає на дорозі....

Google maps is my go-to map app for many years. I dont leave home without it.

Easy to use and much better than the GPS that came with our car.

This has always been my go-to app but on my new 10.5 it freezes up, wont load street views (or takes forever), and locks up when you exit street view. It must be something between the new versions of iPad Pro with their new processor and google because it works fine on my iphone7 and 1st gen iPad 12.9. Please fix this! Sigh.

Googles latest play in making my life more convenient is making me feel like they are watching my every move. It seems that you can no longer access your map history without turning on their "Im watching everything you do" functionality. Google products used to be awesome but I will stop using everything if I have to turn on all their tracking info. TURN OFF ALL THE TRACKING GOOGLE!

I have been using this app since forever. I use it every single day. When I noticed the green bar that notifies you when youre out of the app was gone I was a little disappointed. That green bar made it so simple to get back to the app if you left out of it. The past few days Ive been clicking the area where it used to be only to be reminded its no longer there. Please bring it back !

This app suggested I take a route through the northern mountains of New Mexico with 16 miles of dirt roads and a dam crossing with a 10 foot wide roadway. There is no option for selecting only all weather routes or only paved routes. This app should only be used in urban settings or as a secondary tool to back up more appropriate and better vetted routings.

This app would be FANTASTIC if the options would actually work! For instance - using google calendar to tell you when to leave to get to a location an hour away, you can open up that location in maps! Super simple! Except it takes you in the opposite direction, to a different location! So thats always fun, right? Same thing goes for selecting a route without toll roads. Super simple! Except as you select "no tolls" google decides to override that! Also very fun to realize ON THE FREEWAY. WHEN YOU HAVE NO CASH TO PAY THOSE TOLLS. But, at least you can set home and work locations! To make it easy to get home when youre two hours away from it! OH WAIT. Even though you DOUBLE CHECK and MAKE SURE the address is CORRECT it decides to take you to an old address. This app could be amazing. But its broken. Ive waisted too many hours of my life trusting what should be a simple, straightforward app. It is now uninstalled and I will never use it again.

Ive loved using google maps for years but I hate the new update. Cant find any settings. Why fix what isnt broken? Also the voice search is gone so I guess I cant use it while driving

Apple maps and garmini too if I get lose it will finded away home every time thank u I love all ur products
