Cant find the way without it

Thank you for finally adding the "reverse route" icon back to the main screen. A few comments... I miss seeing the time "without traffic". Especially during the winter when accidents can throw off the time if Im planning ahead for my route. I used to be able to save my destinations with a "star" after I arrived. Why take that away?

Not enough integration with the other Google Map company Waze. Alf do, offline maps not available in all countries, like Cuba where it would be very useful.

Its accurate and always up to date. I use it over anything else out there.

Sometimes sends you on a longer route but if you already dont know where your at, then you really dont know it was longer until you reach your destination. But now you have a bit of a clue so if you know a bit quicker way, take it!!!! If you get to far off track, this app is quick to reroute you to your destination. Plus satellite view makes it so easy because you can find your way by landmarks as well. Great job, keep up the improvements.

I use Google Maps all the time. Its a great app, but Id like it to have the option to search for restaurants, gas, etc., that are along my route, not just close to me.

Maps have stopped showing up completely, no matter what I do.

You gotta trust google. They always have the ability to turn a good app into unusable trash

Its actually better in iOS, route options stay after being set!!!

The ability to disable location data collection is broke. The setting reverts to on after closing and opening the app.

I would like to star all the Walmarts at once for an area. Could I have an option to do that with other chains? Or maybe star all libraries at once?

1- This supposed night mode, under navigation settings has 3 selections, day, night and auto. Use auto, it comes on way after dark. If you select night mode, it doesnt work, and will still wait till it thinks its dark outside. 2- When it finally goes into night mode, if you navigate somewhere, you still get the same green strip at top showing the next turn. Hardly a night mode when the bright glaring green is glowing on screen. Turning down screen brightness does little. HEY GOOGLE, ARE YOU LISTENING? Turn the strip at top to black with white letters, please. And when I switch manually to night mode, your screen should too.

App logged into Googles services without prompting even after a clean install.
