Constant updates are killing me

Yes, the app is good. But i always offload it from memory because they google tracks you otherwise...and these bi-daily updates just force all settings to be reset to "googles choice".
Hey Google, stop those 3-days-per-week updates, will you? Is your app that bad with every version?!?!
