Apple maps v Google maps

I commute from DC to Baltimore to work daily and run all apps to optimize travel time. Google out performs Apple almost every time. Although, googles predictions of inner city traffic, for say someone who wants to cross town, can be a bit off at times.

Meanwhile, neither Google or Apple have provided the functionality with transit taking that hopstop once did. With hopstop, I never worried about being late while taking public transit because I could enter my desired arrival time and the app would tell me what time I needed to depart to make it by that time. Google maps, please pick up this functionality!!!
