GPS and map are freezing

On street view, the compass doesnt work. The compass is completely stationary, greyed out, and useless. Who knows why Google disabled it or failed to notice.

Attempting to use walking turn by turn directions in downtown Denver was an exercise in futility. The map would not update, it would not show direction correctly, would not tell what direction you were facing or going.

Complaints are legion. Google should get on top of this.
