I expected a better design

Unsafe! Too many taps/clicks to calculate, recalculate and re-zoom trips!!! Annoying!!! My places and recent places should be the first screen to appear or settings should allow this!! One click/tap should allow me to see latest route alternatives to keep me driving safely. For a bonus integrate key functions with hey Siri.
