A Whole Different Level Compared to Apple Maps

I recently bought a car with Apple CarPlay, and as a result, ended up re-installing Apple maps to use on the cars display. It wasnt until after using Apple maps for a few weeks that I began to realize just how amazing google maps is.
I desperately wish that google maps could be used through Apple CarPlay, but as far as Im aware, theres no intention of that ever happening.
Regardless, I will still refuse to use Apple maps any more. Im tired of being told to enter the highway through an exit ramp.
