Too slow on iOS 11

Since iOS 11 upgrade Google Maps has become terribly slow. It keeps hanging for 1-2 seconds every couple of user actions. Moreover it is so much heavy on battery. Seems like it’s using CPU too heavily or blocking the UI for some background task.

Since I’m used to depend on Google Maps for daily usage, this is becoming a big issue.

I submitted a bug report some weeks ago using built in reporting feature, but with no use...
