One Update and you smashed your app?!

I’m traveling right now and used to use maps since a long time. But since the latest update the route planning is not working. It starts searching and get instant back to the place. Small bug which destroy the function.
Furthermore all my starred marked favorite places around the world are gone. Super sad.

What do you think google? I have to use another map app cause you destroyed yours and...
Huge company. Should not happen.
