This Version Needs Update It keeps freezing and closing I can’t save the location it keeps freezing and I have to reopen the app 4-5 times to reach a location please update it

This app works very well! I am very pleased and use it fairly often.

Way back in the day when Google was just trying help us find directions this was a five star app. Then Apple and Google realized they werent milking every dollar out of each other and started the slow decline in app quality. Instead of offering multiple ways to get to your destination it now gives you the fastest. But if there is traffic it will re route automatically without permission. It also doesnt always take you the fast way. Sometimes it takes you through town for no reason because it wants to stop and shop. Doesnt show all restaurants and fast food. It used to show you the whole map when you were driving now twenty feet before you are supposed to turn it will tell you and then it slowly shows up. I hate it. Havent heard of a better directions app so we are stuck with this crap.

We never have anywhere I come right to Google maps to find my way around any town it’s a great piece of software or app

This is my go to map for everything the only thing I don’t like it they need to change the spot to find your location .. love it get rid of the button that takes you to your location because it’s in the map and you always hit it in rune what you’re looking at!!! Please it doesn’t need to be out their ???? Really

Haven’t figured out to get rid of the “Explore food and drinks in this area” button; it always pops up when you zoom in. I’m thinking it’s not possible disable it. The button is annoying.

Whenever I route to go somewhere using your location, the starting location is completely off, in the wrong time part of town every time. Please fix this.

Last update just let me delete recents to clean up during my travels. Now my entire account is linked and I have to delete every recent activity individually again or day by day. Go back to how it just was and I had been waiting for so long to clean up that way! Every thing else is up to google standards and what I love about google maps. Update: still can’t figure out why I can’t get my saved addresses to show up anymore. Long term app is about to be repacked with something that has what I need. Sorry google.

In two separate instances in a row, directions did not lead to the destination that was input. Also tried to steer me the wrong way into a one-way street.

I am constantly using google maps. A couple of things I don’t like is it will say you hav arrived, however your 2-3 places from the actual address is. Then it want tell you the address, you have to remember the address your going to. Please fix this!! It’s very irritating since I travel all the time. Thank you

I found a few misleading names, they do change the names due to political and financial reasons, not honest.

Used to work well but with the recent update, I’m having a problem where navigating from My Location doesn’t navigate from the blue dot but instead starts me off at some other incorrect location. The blue dot is in the right place but the navigation just starts somewhere else, sometimes even from a different city. Apple Maps works fine. iPhone 8, iOS 11.0

I love Google Maps! It has saved us from unnecessary meandering and turning in circles on our trips away. Not to mention the arguments with my love, lol.
