Needs an Apple Watch app. I want the haptic prompts like Apple maps offers.

Edit: thanks for addressing this issue and quickly too! Please consider enabling turn-by-turn navigation for Iran region. Thank you :) ----------- Why do I have to tap on that weird icon and tap on traffic every time open the app? How hard is it for it to remember it? Wait it wasnt. Why did you remove convenience?

The recent update made Maps difficult and unsafe to program. I used to see Home, Work and some of my favorites as automatic choices, but now I need to type them in. Very inconvenient and unsafe when trying to program.

Update: I’ve been a long time google user and have always relied on google maps but now I’m disappointed with this latest version. The new "feature" which gives me no option but to see a (probably highly inaccurate) average calorie burn estimate when I want to walk somewhere is incredibly dangerous to those suffering from eating disorders/disordered eating, and underage users who are more vulnerable. Whoever thought it was a good idea clearly wasnt thinking that they could be harming a significant portion of the population and putting so many people at risk. Probably highly inaccurate at best, capable of contributing to someones death at worst. This is not a helpful feature. PLEASE: - Consider removing it now that youve been made aware its putting vulnerable people at risk - If you must keep it, have it as an option that the user must elect to turn on in a menu, not as default

I got a fine in NJ because Google Maps rerouted us through the E-ZPass only and Im a tourist I didnt know that I have to pay the toll. Please put a option for driving without E-ZPass and paying the toll. Google Maps keeps rerouting every time through the E-ZPass.

This App crashed before the iOS 11 update and crashes after the iOS 11 update. Every time I’m in the middle of a search for a restaurant or other item in the city it locks up and crashes. Also the directions are not very good and direct you to the place but not the entrance

I am deleting google maps! They have got me lost 4 times!! Taken me way past my destination! Not acceptable, good bye google, you’re lost to me!

what you did to the French Canadian voice in the Goggle Maps application. The new voice is less natural and more robotic than the old one. we want the return of the old voice that you have changed very recently. Before, the French Canadian voice in the Google Maps app was exactly the same as Google Home (French Canadian) and voice search under the Google app (ios). That is why I inscribed three stars instead of five. Bad choice !!!

Very accurate, improvement would be to have the secondary highways more prominently visible.

D if you’re using voiceover and you need a route involving public transit am walking between stops, there is no way for you to get the walking portion of your route expanded for you so that you can hear turn by turn directions from one stop to the next. This is apparently a voiceover bug, and sided users are able to do this.
