New update about activity deletes the wrong maps and isnt simple to use. Trash can deletes were easier and better!

Downloaded the latest update and the app doesnt even launch!!!! Crashed the first time I opened it after the update and hasnt worked ever since!

Continues to be the top navigation and mapping tool I use.

I love it, just need an hud option

Took a good app and destroyed the ease of functioning.

We have used other navigation apps but have found this to be the most user friendly

Have used this app for a long time. It has gotten me through some really tough times. Dont know what I would do without it! Love all of the built in features too.

Please add truck routes and truck vehicle profile in app.

Dumb app expects you to exit the freeway at rush hour and cut 3 lanes of traffic in 500 feet to make a right. And when did parking lots and train tracks become usable roads?

Update. Two bug fixes since my review and problem still persists. Good news is its a free app. Street view takes forever to load on the new IPad Pro 10.5, when it works at all. When it does work; about 1/2 the time, going back to the map view either crashes the app or more commonly, causes the app to freeze forcing me to force close the app and try again. Street view is pretty much the only reason to even use Google Maps over the built in Apple Maps application. This doesnt happen on my iPhone 7 or my iPad Air 2 or my wifes release edition IPad Pro 12.9 so its got to be some kind of incompatibility with the new Pros. This needs to be fixed if its too be at all useful.

Whatever happened to Google maps takes you on out of the way roads and gives confusing and wrong directions. I hate this new update, going to a different map app for directions from now on.

nothing was wrong with google maps in my opinion then this new update stops you from being able to swipe at the top to see next step- usually could see "5 miles to left on cherry hill road" etc but now you see entire list which is useless to me, i really hate the update. Anyone know how i can go back to app before the update???

Its very good app

Please change back to the original map history in settings because it was much better to delete previous maps that was used. The new update that changed it to what it is now is not worth a flip. Then Ill change my rating to a five star. Thanks

Still working on how to use the app properly. So far I like the site of the map!
