This is my favorite maps app and probably the most used app on my phone as I depend on it for work. However, after the last update, it has become nonfunctional. The app no longer picks up my current location and every time I input my destination and choose my location as the starting point, it automatically chooses the starting point of my previous trip, regardless of whether I choose current location or input another location. Then once I hit start, it just gets stuck in REROUTING... and nothing happens. Please fix! Thank you.

With this last update, Google maps cant find my location. It constantly states that its rerouting.

Very Useful and Necessary Application

Since about 2 updates ago the app is incapable of giving me directions when use "Your location". The blue dot "live" marker appears and is accurate however asking for directions starts with "Your location" nowhere near my location. When I type the full "From" & "To" addresses the route displays but app gets stuck in endless "Rerouting..."

I loved this app but the last few times Ive used it its been giving me crazy directions... like hey drive through this subdivision and park then walk through the woods to the restaurant you wanted to go to thats actually located on the busy road next to the woods.... hmmm nope

I think google maps is one of the most needed apps and it save alot of my time daily.

I use this app mostly for reviews on local businesses

Why is it that Ive use this app for years and suddenly the routing is screwing up??? And the start location is always incorrect for some reason! I use this daily for work!

Why is the share trip progress feature not available on iOS?

This current version no longer works. After latest update, all routes start either at work or at my home even though I have starting location to use current location. When starting my trip, app goes into "Rerouting" mode and never reroutes me, it locks up and I have to kill the app. I can be 50 miles from home, pick end location down street and google creates route from my house. I have deleted app and reinstalled, checked location settings, etc. all started with last update. It seems "use current location" in my instance does not function anymore. I am guessing I will delete home and work address because google only uses those two locations for creating routes instead of current location. Feedback sent into google day app released with no feedback yet. Poor update.

What did you people do? This update is horrible. Re-routing just causes the app to have a meltdown. And thats IF you can get directions to work. When you use "your location" the app picks a random location to start from, not your actual location where the blue dot is on the screen. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS UPDATE

Google Maps always thinks Im in the same location and just recalculates the whole time. Unusable. Deleted, reinstalled and still doesnt work.
