Google Maps App Reviews

This has never happened to me before but after updating to the latest version, Google Maps will not even open... The app crashes the instant it zooms from the icon to full screen view. What a bummer :/

There is no option to select multiple destinations/way points, this limits usability a lot

This app surpasses all other in updates on traffic accidents in the area. The voice command address is almost 100% accurate.

Overall, this is a nice app. You have to be careful because sometimes it will take you all the way around the world. Once it took me 2 hrs out of the way. Sent me waaay north then east and then south 2 hrs away. Once it said the destination place was on the right side when the place was on the right. But overall its ok.

Love the app. It works great everywhere I go. No matter what the trip or vacation, google maps has me covered

Best navigation app out there when it works and does not crash. Using the app for a couple occasions and it tends to crash or force clothes on its all out of nowhere

This is my go to navigation app for directions, no matter which manner of transportation I am using be it car, biking, walking or public transportation

Google Maps is great, and its always getting better, but it could be improving fast.

Make navigation turn by turn text larger! Or at least configurable. I cant read the highway exit number, route and interstate number when driving!! This makes navigation useless with iPhone screen smaller than 4.7in. While bigger screen doesnt have this problem. Please address this problem!!

Honestly the new material design UI doesnt look that different then what it was before. I wish Google would spend time updating their map graphics because compared to Apple maps, Google maps is a little blurry to look at, and overall less appealing then the colorful pop you get from Apple maps. I wish Google would implement their 45 degree HD satellite imagery in their maps because the regular view just doesnt cut it. Or have 3D maps. It also sometimes doesnt know the direction I am going in navigation mode and this is not compass interference because when I have Apple maps running at the same time it doesnt have any problem.

Easy to use and it is very accurate with directions. A voice guides you with directions so you dont need to look at your phone. Also, no typing is required - you can tell the app your destination!

Better than all of the gps devices Ive previously owned

After the new update ( traffic status) no other navigation app is needed at all. Except if no internet is available.

I used this to go to a large city and it gave great directions to my destination. Since my iPad doesnt have wifi all the time, I just left the app minimized after looking up map at home and it worked great to get me where I wanted to go. I dont believe any map can be perfect all the time since every county used its own naming plan with no real standards being applied, but this is great.

1. Can you please add speed limit monitoring like Waze has? 2.It would be nice to see what the travel time would be without traffic. This feature was part of the app in the past, but was taken out at some point. Thanks!

This app got me completely lost. I was trying to get to Sandton, VA but directed to the inner city of Richmond VA.

Always gives me accurate arrival times.

Theres only a few things that Google does better than Apple, and the Maps app is one of them.
