Also, the setting turns itself back on every update.

The app was great for 2 years and then it went completely haywire. Crashing and being unreliable and unresponsive. I deleted it and reinstalled. Still nothing worked. Hope an update fixes it. If anyone knows how to fix it, PLEASE, let me know.

For whatever reason when I start directions in the app it takes a good 5 minutes for the directions to kick in with up to date GPS. It is frustrating. It used to work flawlessly.

I tell ya,after using my TomTom for years and having to find the address on my device then load it onto the gps it was becoming a major ordeal. Now I look it up on line and wammo it does it all straight for me.??????

This new release isn’t keeping up with my location. I trying to pull up directions from where I am and it thinks I’m somewhere totally else. Very frustrating. I’ve never had a problem before.

Needs work. Not giving directions right. Wasn’t giving an exit for the highway.

It used to be a great app. Now it shows me exactly where I’ve been and wants my input on that!! Not happy that you’re tracking me Google. Not cool. I’m this close to deleting all google related apps because of this...

I don’t need the traffic layer on all of the time and I cannot turn it off by default.

Hi I did Not Make This Google Maps

It’s very annoying that the google maps app is stuck in portrait mode. When I try to use it in landscape mode, the view is stuck in portrait mode. No matter how many posts I’ve read in the different forums, and tried all the suggestions to fix this problem is not working. Very disappointing.

For months now Blue marker no longer moves as I drive. Time to delete this app from my phone!

When I type a address I want to go then I press on directions it throws me out back to the map

Today I attempted to use google maps 3 times to find our destination. It froze up and wouldn’t work the first 10 minutes each time. It’s extremely frustrating to have to go in circles because it doesn’t work properly or is updating extremely slow after we’ve passed the roads it says to take. STILL WONT WORK! FIX IT!

Use this app every day but your update isn’t very user friendly.
