Hi I can not navigate any routes Maybe after 15 attemps and clicking on destinations a route navigation works Is this because google hates ios ? Why would you do that? Please fix the navigation bug

Brutal

I really love this. I’ve been using it for around a decade now and it’s always my go to. But I really don’t like the new change where it keeps defaulting back to no traffic. I often used Google Maps to determine the traffic near me which alternatives aren’t as accurate at doing. Now I have to open Google Maps and click on traffic again. It’s just tedious and an unnecessary change to make. 5 stars if it’s reversed.

The more I use this app, the worse my experience is. After the last few updates my experience with google maps has absolutely plummeted. I used to think it was better than apple maps, nor anymore.

Best navigation app, with the ability to download offline maps and googles search engine giving you the most relevant options, it’s proven much better the the proprietary software in iPhone. In Canada, maps only gives you search queries from across the boarder being as close as I am.

Too slow, embarrassment.

Every time I have to use it, I cannot get a voice. I went to Verizon store and it worked like a charm, next day it would not work. Looks like I am have to buy one.

Long time veteran user of Google Maps. Freezing issues have been resolved on the latest iOS and I have switched back (from Waze). The only issue I see as a bug recently with GMaps is the search bar being shown out of proportion. The bar appears thin and sometimes clicking in the search bar when I am on the phone or have the hotspot leads to misclicks. Seems that the bar is adjusting to the full-screen resolution rather than moving to accommodate the iOS notification bar when on the phone or using hotspot.

This absent you on routes that are longer than they should be, it changes midway through sending you on a incorrect route increasing the amount of time to get to your destination. I work for an estimating company and have appointments that I are time sensitive and require my arrival on time. This app needs to make the necessary corrections. Very frustrating.

This App is overall good except for a very basic feature: Speed limit display. This is a much needed feature specially if you drive through local and rural highways where speed limits change frequently. I have read that Google Maps do show speed limit in parts of Northern California, but this is not the case here in Texas. I had to leave this to use other apps. Any idea when speed limit feature will be added for Texas?

Honestly my only problem is the blue shade that indicates what direction Im looking at is always behind me not ahead of me and it throws me off that.

Why does this app randomly stopped working? it is becoming completely unreliable. It did not used to be this way please fix it.

This app was good. But all the new updates have it when I drive the directions are facing the wrong way. It would be better if the directions faced forward.

Recent updates: 1) Drains battery. 2) Previously, traffic overlay stayed off when turned off. Now its back on after exiting app. Option to toggle per user preference like previous versions would be nice. Sometimes its just too much colors. Thank you for your time!
