It doesn’t come up as direction in my 6s pluse ?

Not 100% why but google doesn’t tell me exactly where I am and where I need to go. Doesn’t tell me where to turn deleted app and finding a new one

error mostly when select “directions” button. There is no “Start” navigation button after previewed the route.

This used to be my go to app but lately its been sending me on cow runs - making me go East when I should go West, doubling the amount of time it should take me to get somewhere, giving instructions after the exit...

Every once in a while an update is released that removes the user-selected default layer settings, such as traffic. I don’t want to have to turn on traffic every time I open the app. Fix this again!

Google maps are great! Google map are specifically in my opinion are really supposed to be used for private use! Meaning we mark all of our places on our timeline for offline uses making it easier for future references or making it available to us for those times when our devices are no longer hooked up to services or catching wifi signalsbetc. It could also be a very dangerous matter too BC everything we mark will be or is as or could play out as handsome! We are actually making it possible for the bad guys to locate us &then copy our everyday moves, gestures what we do on a daily basis, the time framing we do it in, what we like, etc etc! If one was to lets say pass away do to any reason if they "whoever they are" are if they feel like they have enough information on us they could clone us and no one would ever know BC they then have our timeline places, foods favorite things,friends, everything we do would be marked already so then they could therefore continue our evolving after we pass if wanted! Im just speaking conspiracy theories or things that are very quite possible to happen! If this got in the enemies hands we are lets just say..Theres no better word for it in my book so straight up Ducked! We are all at war RightNow we just dont realize it! War online! Theres cross countries going back and forth everyday! places fav OK rite places, apps, reviews, notes places etc for the long run to make it as easy as a click away or tap away for when we are off lineIts us never always right! Its used, copied and edited over way too many times! We are the Google maps! We are the developers! We are human and therefore have errors! I have 4 different places all in on spot that shows where Im at? Its BC we are showing for different devices and we are supposed to mark one for each different one! Their drones, etc. We really all need to pay more attention to what we read, what we do, what we eat who we keep company just about every single thing we do! Everything honestly does matter in all that we do! We could start by one review at a time! Writing reviews is a way of changing all of us for the better and a way of getting word out! Google maps! Doing, being, reading, everything! Usa Google MN aps!

March 2018 this app stopped working correctly. One day I can’t get directions using the train. Today it is not taking me 1 mile away properly. I’ve never had this many problems, but am thinking I need another gps option.

All the new features are cool, but I end up going to other apps that will load faster because I can use them when I’m a pinch.

With the new “upgrade” it is freezing more, the voice is not playing over my car’s Bluetooth even though the call is active (does that make sense), and functionality seems limited. When I was in San Francisco recently, it worked perfectly and even showed speed limits when driving. When here at home in the Midwest, nope. I used to love the app but I’m now looking for an alternative.

I traveled over 1,000 miles almost every week with no worries using my google maps app. It guides me around tolls, keeps me from getting lost and best of all keeps me on time! I’d be lost with out it.....literally!! Lol

Very Good

I’ve used Google Maps forever, but it seems lately (the most recent version?) I often can’t see the names of streets. I would think this would be a key feature and at the top of the priority list for a map app. I pinch, zoom in, etc to see where I am supposed to turn (I don’t like using the step by step instructions), but nope, no street name. Frustrating.

Helpful navigation tool.

I love this app, way better than apple maps. But after that last update it doesnt work. Cant track my location, constantly getting me lost, I dont know about turns until well after Ive passed them. Fix for 5 stars —— UPDATE: Whatever problems I was having seem to have been resolved. Thank you. 5 stars as promised

Not sure what happened, but I am constantly missing turns and exits because this app can’t manage to stay connected. And when it glitches, I can’t expect to be given new direction because it doesn’t re-route anymore. It’s like it can’t even tell where I am! This app was previously my go-to for GPS...now every time I open it and try to use, it ends in extreme frustration. Deleting.

Love google maps - it is my go to app when I need directions. It is accurate 95% of the time.

Disappointed

Can you please fix, Google? It doesn’t work for 5 plus minutes after launching. I’m tired of missing my destination because of this. Using Waze until it’s fixed.

Google Maps is great and we prefer to over Apple Maps. It would be so helpful if they could overlay weather on top of traffic so we could plan our trips better.
