When I want to share location with dropping a pin on map it becomes totally different than the location wich I want.. we lost our distance ?

Dont ever EVER ask me to leave feedback literally within the first few seconds of me opening the app to go on a road trip. So rude

Google maps has bike directions which I need but no longer works over cell service. This is a bit ridiculous. I can only hope apple maps will soon have bike directions do I can delete google.

It should have an option for truck height and weight so it doesnt put me on roads I cant go on

This was a great app until last week. It doesnt recognize my location and when I dont follow the instructions. It doesnt relocate automatically it shows only my original location. The turn by turn it is not working.

Pls kindly improve turn by turn navigation in more country. Im in Cambodia. here, there is not turn by turn navigation voice support. I hope google will find out on later updating to get google map on the top using ever.

Im on the road 8 months out of the year. Having a useful navigational app is key for the remote destinations I travel to in the US. When they released the offline maps feature, I was absolutely thrilled and it worked great. Of course, this option is only available for the map view and not satellite view. This was unfortunate, but as long as I scrolled through the location in satellite mode, the app cached the images which worked ok. After the latest updates, the app no is longer caching satellite images which is a BIG disappointment. Why this app doesnt allow you to save satellite imagery for offline mode is beyond me. Other annoying attributes to the app are constant route changes (not authorized by me), vocal updates you cannot mute unless ALL notifications are muted, and the You will arrive at 7:02PM notification after starting your route. Hey developers, not everyone cares when theyre going to arrive at their destination! Theres already an ETA listed on the screen. I dont need the creepy vocals telling me the same info. Lastly, as others pointed out, too many icons on the main screen.

I wouldnt use anything else.

This app is never accurate with traffic, time of arrival or best possible routes. Every time I try to use this app I am 20-40 minutes late. I understand traffic happens, but sometimes when Im using the app Ill be in dead stopped traffic, yet it shows the route is clear. Get it together Google.

With voice navigation, now I get a generic "turn right, turn left" without the specific street name. Constantly looking at the phone to discern *which* street makes this a dangerous app! Had to switch back to Apple Maps to hear the actual street names.....

Just trying to drop a pin and send to a friend and it is impossible to find that functionality

The reason why it is such a low rating. Why cant there be turn by turn notification sent to my iwatch? By now there should be no reason why it cant work with the watches.

I bus to work and i use the "Arrive" feature for the bus where you should be able to tell the app when you need to arrive at your destination. The app usually just gives me a bus time around when i should leave and tells me ill arrive on time despite the fact that it often takes me another 10-20 min

There have been quite a few occasions when google map cant quite pinpoint where Im at. It keeps saying to exit when Ive already exited. It would be nice if some more precision is introduced into it.

Waste my time I cant believe how trash apple has become

Shows installing for two months. Can not delete, open, nothing

Extremely useful, wheither on foot, bike, car or whatever mode of transportation.

New update had eliminated the feature tat lets the user see the congestion ahead! Now the user needs to turn on local radio to discover the current traffic conditions ahead. Not cool!
