Google Maps App Reviews

I have tried very hard to like Google Maps over the last few years. I does have some things going for it. Notably it has among the best and most accurate routing of any navigation app. Admittedly it has had its share of problems, including a confusing interface (which has gotten better) and the problem all Google products have which is that they are in eternal beta mode. But for me the deal breaker with Google Maps is that it will leave you stranded. Twice in just the last couple of months there have been very nast bugs in navigation serious enough that navigation has been unusable. This can be a nasty surprise when you hop in the car headed somewhere in a hurry only to find that your map app doesnt work. The bugs seem to be fixed once again--for now--but who knows for how long? A navigation app you cant rely on is worthless.

Now every time I search for place on safari and click on direction itll take me to next page. Next option is use the app or no thanks when I click on use app itll open another window on safari saying open right in the center. When I click on open itll take me to App Store thinks that I dont have app already deleted downloaded again same issue.

Not updated like apple maps. Wrong street names/ numbers. Sent google maps several requests to fix over the past couple months. Nothing fixed.

Ill start off by saying Ive never had a real is issue with the app until now the navigation is so confusing its switching showing me Im upside down to side ways, I dont know what was wrong with the navigation before?! Please change it back!
