Google Maps App Reviews

The app does not give you direct directions when you are driving in a city. It will tell you to take an exit and then reroute because its unnecessary for you to take it in the first place. Directions are messy and end up causing me to go the wrong way more than the right way.

Great app l love it, but a big future is missing the speed limit icon is very important when you are driving on unknown streets or unfamiliar places. Instead of taking the path that is the least amount of closures and construction the Google maps app takes you from the most amount of pleasures and construction possible

Unlike imaps no way to replay voice directions. If there is Google does not let find out how.

It works for the most part, and I want to use it but it just shuts up on me mid route and wont talk again until I arrive.

Apple Maps has improved, but Google Maps remains the best map app.

Finally google made it easy to look at your location history quickly and easily, and even includes photos from Google Photos within your timeline. The Share Location feature is incredible as well to let folks know when youre on the way!

Great app, keeps you informed of road conditions related to traffic movement. Love this app.

Drains battery 3 times faster than apple maps and doesnt have visual map direction on the lock screen like apple maps

This app keeps taking me to the wrong locations, maybe the app gets confused when roads have north, south, east and west? Its usually off by a few kilometres. My wife has an older version of google maps that works fine.

I am a Google Maps user, but now have a car with CarPlay. The interface is pretty seamless, and the step by step navigation with Siri is very good. Could still use some of the refinements of Google maps, but it is better than I expected based on past experiences.

Apple watch support needs to come back!
