Specially for offline maps, this is a killer feature

I hope Maps will learn to anticipate when sports games are going on, and develop a way to reroute traffic away from the stadium and its arriving/leaving fans, and to avoid guiding us toward the roads that get regularly blocked off by the city before and after games.

This Is by far the best map application for your mobile device, ever!

Update 5/17/17: I have to admit I do not like the new configuration for switching to satellite, traffic, etc. I like the previous set up it was much easier to switch them on and off basically only requiring one hand and two clicks. I use Google maps a lot as a delivery driver and Im not reel happy with the directions the app is going. As much as I love this app switching everything around and calling it an update was pointless and did absolutely nothing good. Original review: I dont think I need to say much about Google maps because we all know its the best! My only complaints or two things. First the traffic sometimes doesnt work I try restarting the app turning the traffic off and back on again and nothing works. Sometimes this last for a few minutes sometimes an hour or two. My second complaint is when navigating on street/ satellite mode Ive been experiencing some issues. It used to be the little arrows you would click to move now a solid blue line that you slide your finger along to move. The problem is there are certain streets where he goes back and forth from the arrow to the blue line. Also the blue lines are not straight sometimes theres weird shapes that may look like a couple triangles in an intersection this makes it really difficult to move. Sometimes I spend a minute or two just trying to move the map. Also I dont like if your paining the camera around or trying to zoom into a location it always seems to move the map on you. I hope this system can be better in a graded in the future and works more seamlessly. ?Thanks Google?

The navigation is still excellent but the fact that theres no option anymore to connect with your contacts in your address book is really frustrating.

Which kind of fixes you talking about, I think you have added mistakes on it, You are going to make an update for it or we will delete it.

Does not update traffic for rod closures and construction has cost me hours of traffic time.

Im one of those people who doesnt like change. It takes time to learn a new update.

Love this app. Use this app everyday. Everyone in my company uses this app everyday. But now when I try to send someone a location it sends them to a random place that I was not intending. Really hope you get it fixed! Dont want to have to find something new!

Good map, but the bike portion is invaluable

Could be a great app, but if theres a certain road/freeway etc. you do not want to take, it doesnt rerouted you. Instead, in nags you constantly to make a u-turn again and again. Get the hint, i do not want to get on the 405!!!!!!!

This update is very bad. The program does not work on iPhone

For example, I have it specifically set to never give me routes with tolls yet it does anyway. Im not using an app that is a financial burden.

In the last patch the map constantly will be on the right path for 1/5 of the time then it would put me in a completely random place, leading to me becoming lost.

Love, love, love this app. WAY better than apple maps and keeps improving. traffic is more accurate than local radio & tv. Keep up the great work. Only wish it was native to ios, hate that it keeps asking me to download apple maps.
