Google Maps App Reviews

I kept getting the same error message whenever I tried to update the app to the latest version. "App can not be downloaded at this time". I havent retry many times on different dates, but I am still getting the same error. Please help! Thanks!

I live in Central Florida where we have a ton of toll roads. The latest update got rid of the "Avoid Tolls" option in the app for iOS. Luckily, we had my husbands android version, but this was a big inconvenience with a ton of u-turns to avoid being taken onto toll roads.

Google map is the best map app. I use it everyday when I am hiking in our city park with 20 miles of trails. Names of each trail is listed showing direction of travel. There is no better app

This version of google map resolved the bluetooth issue so I can finally use a speech search in my car! For some iphone users google map speech recognition search stopped working after ios 10 update, made me to use apple map for a while with siri, but this version brings it back. Great work!

I like how it shows where the traffic backups and accidents are located. App is very useful.

Ever since this update on May 10, 2017 my navigation has been awful. It makes my current location a place where Im not even at!!! I didnt have this problem until today. And yes, I have my location turned on.

Its the best navigation app out there as far as Im concerned, but lately the voice navigation stops working for no apparent reason. The only way to fix it is to delete the app and reinstall. Its frustrating. When it works, its awesome.

Best of any out there as of now. Gets new streets and routes correct and learns driving habits. Wont use anything else personally.

Would be an amazing app if it were offered through iWatch app, since its available for iPhones. Until then its 3 stars. Its one of my favorite maps to use but I score/rate honestly and not having it available for Apple users to use on their watches is a major downfall.

Easy to use...good functionaloty!

This is a great app for getting accurate directions from one place to another anywhere in the world. Its useful while driving, walking and can even help one catch the next bus or other mode of transportation. Its made my life much easier. Thanks Google.

Would love to be able to see up coming side street names and would also like for the destination address to be announced. Awesome app besides that!!

But the traffic feature is not that great. It refreshes very slowly. One moment its green, and by the next refresh its bumper to bumper. Also, it will show 5 or 6 different "wrecks" within a mile but theres only one. Other times it routes me through a wreck, even though the route is completely backed up and other routes are wide open. When I turn on a side street to force a reroute it just ends up rerouting meback through the wreck again. The algorithms need a lot of work.

Ten times better on Andr.! At least. Loses lots of functionality over here because of iOS/Apples desire to cripple all user capability. Over there, on the other side, you can actually get the directions in list form when sharing... Duh Apple! And youre welcome for my feedback, Apple. Just, it would be nice if when leaving feedback the form wouldnt bounce under the keyboard on every line.

I have try many times but this update will not load, gets to 100 downloaded but will not install!

Its awesome but if its possible pls make the voice direction active for Iran. Thx
