I go to Cora meadowvale every Friday for breakfast with a friend, the service is always great, the food is very tasty, our favourite plates are 10 star omelette and burrito crepe. Great place to have a nice family breakfast

The app no longer orients itself correctly, so it ends up facing 180 degrees backwards half the time. A left becomes a right and you just cant navigate.

The current app isnt up to par. No voice notifications or vibrations for step by step directions. I might as well drive my car blind.

...to the satellite and transit views?!? Share your location is nice, but not at the expense of the things I cant find anymore! Very frustrated with this new version.

But my block has been miscast aligned as being in a different town, different zip code and Ive sent feedback about this multiple times and it hasnt been fixed. I cant order anything that relies on gps delivery because they end up going to the wrong town an hour away!!!! Google, please get your $hi+ together!! And read the feedback and corrections emails you receive!!!

This app not only allows me to navigate, find, and discover new places, but also gives me the chance to be in tune with My community as a 16 Year old High school tech intern!

I find it quite hard to do simple tasks like sharing my current location to others (is that even possible?), But at least feels more useful than Apple Maps - especially with being able to download areas for offline use

Why is my only option on this text-extension to share current location... as if we cant do that already without the need of any extension. Why can I not select an address and text that GoogleMaps link??

Since when did google maps start charging for directions?

Google maps is becoming the worst maps app Ive ever used. I used to rely on it, but now it is no longer reliable. I live in a large city and it doesnt know toll roads like it should, especially when the roads are double stacked on or below a main highway. It gets confused every time I use it. Ive actually started using Apple maps since they have improving. Google needs to get their driving team back out and improve this app before it becomes a thing of the past. Google should also seriously consider using the app themselves in every major city, to see the issues theyre having. If a destination location has multiple entrances, this app should know which is the main entrance and lead drivers to it, not the closest entrance, specifically gated communities. I look forward to seeing improvements to this app soon.

I recently bought a car with Apple CarPlay, and as a result, ended up re-installing Apple maps to use on the cars display. It wasnt until after using Apple maps for a few weeks that I began to realize just how amazing google maps is. I desperately wish that google maps could be used through Apple CarPlay, but as far as Im aware, theres no intention of that ever happening. Regardless, I will still refuse to use Apple maps any more. Im tired of being told to enter the highway through an exit ramp.

Total failure.

I updated this app yesterday (May 4, 2017), and now there is no option for satellite view - what happened.

Id be lost without it❗️
